El servicio al cliente es excelente, todos los colaboradores son muy amables y están al pendiente de todo. Las instalaciones están muy cómodas y puedes disfrutar de muchas cosas durante tu estadía, así mismo puedes convivir con la naturaleza todo el tiempo. Los shows son muy buenos, los chicos que se encargan de esta sección tienen la mejor actitud y todos los que realizan espectáculos son muy talentosos. ✨ La comida tanto del buffet como de los restaurantes de especialidad tienen comida deliciosa, el restaurante de los olivos fue mi favorito y la atención del mesero Santiago López fue inigualable, nos realizó sugerencias de acuerdo a nuestros gustos y siempre nos atendió con una gran sonrisa. Todo fue genial!! Volvería a venir con mi familia. ❤️

El hotel me pareció pura fama y nada más, la comida siempre la misma. Los empleados poco serviciales, lo único que me gustó fueron los shows nocturnos. He visitado otros hoteles, especialmente en Punta Cana y las barras quedan más accesibles, allí no había ni una barra cerca al lobby, como los demás. No volvería a visitarlos, muy costoso para lo que es.

My family of four adults and a toddler took our first family vacation after two years of the pandemic. We stayed at the Royal level in the Occidental Xcaret Hotel, for your full disclosure it is our second time in this hotel and the first time staying Royal level. I want to start this review by thanking the concierge young front desk ladies for replying promptly to all our inquiries, and secondly to Max, Albert, Rafa, and the entire team and the Royal level restaurant for treating us with professionalism and respect during our interaction at every meal. During our 7 days at this resort, we got to enjoy the beautiful royal-level pool and jacuzzi, we valued walking the property day and night and observing the lush wildlife and majestic ruins meticulously cared for. We visited the beach that had pristine waters and played for hours with our toddler son, the Ocean photography team took wonderful family photos that we purchased. We also enjoyed a couple’s spa that I reviewed in a separate Google review that was worse every moment, thank you, Rubi & Maribel. I want to also thank the bellboys for assisting us with our luggage and getting our taxi service promptly when we would travel outside the resort. I want to thank our Occidental transportation service for the prompt and comfortable round-trip service, both drivers made our ride amenable with pleasant conversation. Lastly, the entertainment at the resort was wonderful and I encourage all to attend at least one show, the talent of these performers should be highlighted. I end this review with the words of our concierge front lady at our 8 a.m. check out “You will always be Royal because you carry that in your heart”

El hotel es bonito, pero el servicio es pésimo, nunca logramos tener una sola comida a la carta porque estaban saturados, si ya tienen contemplado a una cantidad de gente en sus habitaciones, también deben contemplar una cantidad de ocupación en los restaurantes a la carta. Por el precio hay mucho mejores opciones en todo sentido, desde las habitaciones hasta los servicios. La verdad no regresaría y no lo recomiendo, por el precio hay muchas mejores opciones, incluso hoteles más baratos terminan siendo mejor opción.

No pongo menos porque no puedo. El trato hacia los residentes es frío y escaso. Política de vestimenta y normas acusadas. Hay que vestir pantalones largos para poder cenar. Para una trabajadora con excelente trato hacia los residentes la corren por hablar con los huéspedes. No volveré a este hotel. Sin calidad humana. Donde la esencia caribeña se pierde solo hay fiesta con bebidas adulterados

Las instalaciones son impecables. Las actividades espectaculares, el sitio es uno de los mejores en los que he estado. Pero toda la experiencia arruinada por el personal. Una frialdad enorme. Las dos únicas personas que fueron amables, cercanas y simpáticas con nosotros las despidieron... Buscaron la excusa de que había bebido en alcohol, cuando la persona tomaba una medicación (loratadina) que da falso positivo y ni siquiera preguntan. Si pudiera pondría 0 estrellas. En vez de unirse entre el personal al revés. Se pusieron a hablarse mal entre unos y otros. Muy mal ... No volveré...

The campus is beautiful. Nice pools very clean. I would say the food is average, nothing spectacular but decent. The only negative thing I have to say is the staff seems to be more interested is selling you packages and getting you to go to timeshare pitches than actually providing good service. Some staff members were great but some gave some serious attitude when we asked for simple things like cream for our coffee. I didn't have a bad experience but I won't be going back because there are way better places to go for the same amount of money.

La mejor experiencia que he tenido en mucho tiempo. Un hotel muy bonito, con todos los servicios dentro del hotel, restaurantes de especialidades, farmacia, tienda de recuerdos, ropa, variedad en espectáculo cada día en el teatro y mucho más. Las ruinas dentro del hotel y la fauna combinada con la vegetación es excelente. La playita que tiene esa excelente.

Would you like to experience modern day segregation at its finest? This is the place to be! The very first day you come in, the greatest customer service ever. Forgot your mask? No worries, the concierge has one for you! The next day, when they want to sell you their 50k “royal experience” and you reject it, true colors come alive. Need a mask? 5 dollars at the pharmacy! Need a dinner reservation? Of course! If you are a royal member! They have the audacity to take the person behind you if they’re members, and have the audacity to tell you they are members. If by chance and lots of complaining they give you a reservation, you wait an hour and your food is cold and not what you ordered, but hey that’s what you get for stepping outside your status bounds. Even at the buffet, white tablecloths and chair covers if a member. We need to stop perpetuating this behavior. We need to learn from the past. Who am I though? Not a Royal member, so you make your decision based on that. Never again will I subject myself to this cruelty.PATHETIC. SAD. LACK OF EMPATHY, MORALS. Decay of morality.

It's a beautiful hotel with a lovely private bay, conveniently located to allow you to have a great experience snorkeling and visiting the Xcaret parks and Dolphin swimming without struggling with sargassum affecting your activities. The food is good with several choices besides the traditional buffet and the drinks are very good as well. All the staff is very friendly and willing to give you the best stay. The only few things I would point to be corrected are: verify the hairdryer in the rooms work, the closet doors close easier, more seats by the pools and to add some extra information about ways to easier reach some locations/areas in the signs posted by the entrances and stairs; since the hotel is huge, it might become very tiring to reach some places. Me and my husband enjoyed our 10 days visit and became members with a very nice deal. I strongly recommend this hotel.

PART OF THE LOBBY CEILING COLLAPSED AND ONLY MISSED US BE A FEW FEET!! We are talking about a five floor drop or so. This could’ve seriously injure somebody. Nobody apologized to us, nor did they fix it, no safety tape around the area, just nothing. It’s very scary to think about what could’ve happened. We left the hotel yesterday and the hole was still there. I know it sounds made up, but i have pictures, this really did happen. Moreover, the room did not have an iron or blow dryer, and the shower didn’t have hot water. Next, they have four restaurants, and they don’t take reservations. So we only got to go to one (steakhouse) but only after i pretty much begged the lady that it was our last night, and how we had been trying everyday and they always said no tables were available. Once we walked in there, there were A LOT of available tables, but yet they don’t let anyone in. This happened to all of the other people in our party. The food at the buffet is pretty bland, and it also gets super crowded, I’m sure that’s because everybody gets shut down from the restaurants. Also, yesterday at the pool there were no towels. Yes, a beach resort did not have pool towels pretty much all day! Unbelievable. They have a pool with a swim up bar, but they only had one bartender, it probably took about 20 min to get a drink. The bartender was working very hard but he had no help. With that said, the staff are very hard workers but work under horrible conditions. It was probably 100 degrees and behind the bar the bartenders have no AC, not even a fan. We also spoke to staff members and we heard the kitchen is even worse, enclosed and no air circulating. I didn’t go into the kitchen this was explained to us by staff members. I hope anyone that is planning trip reads this review and reconsiders staying at this place. Although it does have a beautiful scenery, we had a very unpleasant stay.

La discriminación nacional es lo que predomina en el lugar. Aún con propina en mano si no eres extranjero acostumbraré al mal servicio en este lugar. Las instalaciones no son malas aunque tanpo con las mejores. La comida es muy escasa en variedad. No cuentan con actividades para las noches. Todo acaba a las 12 no hay más que tacos y pizza con meseros mal humorados. Tolerancia de estadía muy poco accesible. En general este es de los hoteles para conocer pero no nunca regresar.

This hotel was amazing!! Especially the staff in building 22. All workers make conversation with the guests and ensure that everything is going well. All service was top notch.. We had an issue with our door lock and it was fixed immediately. Monkeys came to our room daily for a visit. I have nothing but good things to stay. My family and I had an amazing time.

This is a beautiful resort with beautiful people who work here. My family has visited here three times and have had wonderful stays each time. This one in particular we loved how clean everything was, the food was amazing, and the service was out of this world. Specifically, Rigoberto did an outstanding job. He remembered us from 6 years ago which was important to my parents. Not only that but he provided amazing service during our seafood dinner and was truly genuine to us. He is one of the reasons, as well as other great staff that took care of us, that we will come back.

This place has a large property full of all its natural surroundings with live animals. Their rooms are great food is improving and unfortunately customer service has gone down since my last visiting 2019. Due to New Management there has been a few changes hopefully they continue to get better service because this is one of my favorite resorts. They have a private Beach area that is amazing especially with family with kids. Third drinks are very decent but not consistent through the resort. High dining restaurants don't open on an everyday and sometimes you're not even aware while you're making a line for them. Although it's an all-inclusive their room service is not included in their amenities they do charge and you only give around four beers every other day stopped into your many refrigerator. Overall I will continue to stay there I love the atmosphere and their natural surroundings.

O hotel em si é meio longe, alugamos um carro e seguindo o GPS deu pra chegar de boa. A localização é perfeita pra quem quiser ir nos parques próximos. O nosso quarto era um First club, mas o chuveiro estava quebrado, as vezes saiam baratinhas da pia e o ar condicionado fazia uns barulho mto loco durante a noite q parecia alguém batendo na porta. Foi a pior coisa da nossa estadia. Tirando os problemas no quarto, a estadia foi maravilhosa. Tínhamos um concierge de nome Pedro que era um amorzinho, deu várias dicas mto boas e sempre aparecia pra dar um oi e bater um papo. O pessoal do hotel é normalmente bem aberto e te sauda com um bom dia ou um olá. Mesmo com as baratinhas saindo da pia, dá pra falar q a limpeza geral do local é boa. Tem alguns hóspedes completamente sem noção e mal educados que largam sujeira pelo hotel, desrespeitam o local, assoam nariz em guardanapo de mesa e ainda assim a galera recolhe, lava e limpa tudinho. Ah, a comida tb é ótima. Dos restaurantes do hotel, o que mais gostamos foi o La Hacienda, recomendo as Fajitas.

Fantastic resort! My first all inclusive experience, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The bars and restaurants have excellent variety, make sure to find Julio Valdez, he hooked us up with an amazing seafood lunch! Some notes for first time visitors: -The specialty restaurants are only open for dinner, and are the far superior food and dining experience -Not all restaurants are open without Royal Level, and you cannot make advance reservations at specialty restaurants either -Cabana beds fill up early, be sure to grab one in the morning -This resort is most enjoyable with fluency in Spanish, though it is not required by any means -Be sure to have small bills for tipping most every service worker

Las instalaciones está bien, pero no toco muy mal el servicio en general, tanto por meseros en sus restaurantes como el room service, la Comida al ser un todo incluido es bastante básica tanto en sabor como en variedad. Nos toco muchas personas sin cubrebocas sirviéndose en los buffets y sin que el personal de cocina o meseros les dijeran nada.

Staff was absolutely amazing. Each building has it's own concierge. This was true luxury. Room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning made it a bit too cool though, so it got turned off commonly when we were in our room. Restaurants here were excellent, but you need to get there early to get on the list. Lunches lacked a bit, but breakfast and dinner were amazing. Paco's Tacos is under rated.

This is an absolutely amazing hotel! There are just a couple of things that could be fixed starting with being able to make dinner reservations for some of the more popular restaurants for the regular folks that arent in the royal club! The water pressure in the shower could be better too. Now the good things are the adult area at the beach was so cool the lifeguard was awesome and very helpful. There were some really great servers that would go above and beyond to make your stay and eating experience great.

El hotel es hermoso. Tiene muchos a animales, caminos para pasear, la playa es pequeña pero ideal para niños. La comida de los restaurantes de especialidad, muy buena, sin peros. La comida de los buffet, como toda la comida de ese tipo, deja que desear. El único "pero" en nuestra instancia, fue la atención telefónica, mala y sin pocas ganas de ayudar. Ni agua caliente para la leche de mi hija quisieron llevar.

Nos hospedamos tres días. Lo positivo, para mí: Hermosísimo lugar, rodeado de vegetación y algunos animales que habitan el área. La zona del edificio principal es muy bonita por su ambientación. Las partes naturales, las de las ruinas arqueológicas, la pileta circular cercana al altar y la playa son muy destacables. Lindas piscinas. Los bares y barras, bien pero al límite. El restaurante Los Olivos es bueno. Las habitaciones son bonitas y bien equipadas. La amabilidad del personal en su mayoría. Lo negativo, para mí: Las limitadas alternativas de alimentos para vegetarianos y muchísimo más limitadas (casi inexistente) para veganos. Tanto en los restaurantes como en los buffets. A casi todo le ponen carne y pretenden que comas solo algunos vegetales crudos y una mezcla de vegetales cocidos que son más para un relleno. No hay alternativas atractivas, ni ideas creativas desde quienes planifican las comidas. Incluso, una noche tuvimos que decirle nosotros al chef que podía prepararnos con lo poco que tenían y nos sirvieron unos tacos muy pobres en su contenido. Hemos notado que, más allá de la amabilidad y predisposición, le falta poder de resolución al personal que está a cargo de algún sector. Nos pasó en varias oportunidades, quedan como paralizados ante algún planteo fuera de los habituales. Algo muy negativo es la falta de control y autoridad sobre algunos turistas que se exceden o desbordan. Hemos vistos varias veces a yanquis ebrios, haciendo ruido, gritando, poniendo música fuerte en un lugar tranquilo y hasta desnudándose en zonas donde había una ceremonia de casamiento, con niños y niñas presente. Jamás nadie estuvo ahí para llamarles la atención. La experiencia general es muy buena, principalmente por su entorno, aunque debería haber normas (y hacerlas respetar) para que el lugar se mantenga con la calma genuina que presenta.

El hotel es hermoso, las instalaciones son de primera, todo está rodeado de naturaleza, el todo incluido lo respetan al 100%, los trabajadores del hotel siempre son muy amables, siempre vas a tener una sonrisa y unos buenos días, el hotel es muy grande pero fácil de acceder, yo como mexicana no note ningún mal trato al contrario no hacen diferencias entre extranjeros y mexicanos, el equipo de animación con Rico es muy caluroso y divertido, sin duda regresaré ya que me enamoré del lugar. Perfecto para descansar, comer y hacer actividades.

Se ganaría 5 estrellas ya que si no fuera que hacen discriminación ( no todo el personal hace distinción ) por el hecho que van mucho extranjero, está excelente ese hotel. Pero de hay en mas las instalaciones están de lujos, la comida está buena, mucha flora y fauna que se ve increíble y mucho lugar para caminar. Cuanta con mini bar que lo surten diariamente y eso esta genial ya que he tenido la oportunidad de visitar distintos hoteles en la zona y solo xcaret ofrece este servicio

Occidental at Xcaret was incredible. It was the perfect balance of nature and all-inclusive resort. We loved seeing the wild life roam free and the incredible care for the space. Shout out to all the landscaping staff.The little nature trails are a nice touch when you’re escaping NY reality. You must must visit Xcaret Park and don’t miss the night show! It’s literally unforgettable. The restaurant variety was great except not all are open every night so check ahead of dinner plans. The disco bars are currently closed for COVID restrictions but the beach front and pool bars were entertaining. We love Alfredo and Juan for being so attentive. And the entertainment crew Claudia and Kenneth for their fun pool activities. For fun night life visit la Quinta and check out coco bongo show. Sad to leave but we’ll be back!

Las instalaciones son lindas. Pero no vayan con bebés!Porque no tienen comida para darles, y le pedimos al los encargados de cocina y no nos hacían ni puré ni pollo o carne a la plancha. La comida es de muy baja calidad, todo salsas entreveradas. No hay papas fritas!!! A veces ponían papas chip de paquete. Las habitaciones triples tienen dos camas! Insólito! La gran mayoría del personal te trataban mal, de mala gana. Quedamos muy desilusionados. No recomiendo este hotel.

Me encantó el hotel, vale la pena pagar para estar en un lugar donde no te tienes que preocupar por la comida o la diversión, todo está en el mismo sitio; la caleta fue mi punto preferido, el agua limpia y llena de peces. Los menús de los restaurantes deliciosos, tanto del buffet, como del restaurante mexicano (mi favorita, la sopa azteca) y de los tacos.Las distancias entre el lobby y los cuartos a veces son algo lejanas, pero hay transporte que te lleva y trae de punto a punto.Las albercas limpias y enormes, viajé en la primera quincena de octubre, es temporada baja, así que no había gente, teníamos todo el espacio para disfrutar.Las habitaciones grandes y con todas las comodidades, me gustó que mi habitación daba hacia el campo de golf, pasaban muchos animales como los coatís y las iguanas frente a nuestra ventana.El personal muy amable, sobre todo me gustaba conversar con los choferes de los carritos que andan dentro del hotel, siempre tiene una sonrisa para ti y alguna recomendación.El hotel está junto a Xcaret, llegas en una trajinera al parque desde el hotel si así lo quieres o caminando estás ahí en 5 minutos. Lo mejor es que tiene un acceso directo para ir y venir, podrías comprar el acceso básico al parque, ya que transporte no necesitas y puedes volver al hotel a comer.La habitación te la entregan a las 3, pero si llegas antes, te registras y ya puedes disfrutar de la comida e instalaciones; para el check out entregas habitación a las 11, hasta la 1 puedes realizar tu última comida y abandonar el hotel a las 5 de la tarde. Además, existe el hospitality room, un espacio para que te bañes y te cambies antes de irte.Me quedé cuatro noches y desde ahí fuimos a Xcaret, a Chichen Itzá y Playa del Carmen. Seguro volveré pronto.

The Occidental at Xcaret is such a great place to stay & enjoy your trip to the Yucatan. Both the ocean front pool & the small inlet lagoon is probably our favorite places to relax on the property. Once you get here you will not want to leave. They offer a variety of different food/dining choices. There is something for everyone. They also have a great gym that is kept very clean.

Trataban mejor a los huéspedes extranjeros. No "había reservación" en ningún restaurante para los mexicanos. Pero los extranjeros pasaban sin problema. Para todo tenía que ponerme en modo de discutir, hasta para pedir 1 vaso de agua. Parece que les hace falta mucho personal. Deberían invertir en aumentar su personal por qué no se dan abasto.

On my second daymy sister fell, she could not walk;we had to cancel ALL park tours. Hotel doctors charged 200 dollars just to see her and a pain shot, recommended for her to visit the hospital; they sent us to a hospital the hotel have connection with. My sister paid there1,000 dollars. After that, I had to push my sisters wheel chair for 2 days, because they failed to tell us we could rent a motor scooter( after we asked;since my back was killing me from pushing her around, they called a place and got one delivered to the Hotel, obcourse we paid for that also) Right now my back hurts very much. I mentioned to service desk that it was hard to have my sister moved around and if they could let me bring her food back to the room or them bring her the food if they prefer,they said NO and she had to go get the food herself.They did not care I told them my back was hurting from pushing the wheel chair the hotel provided. If this was not enough.Food was just awful,not only the buffet but also the restaurant reserved diners,they were even worse. Not that it was not that good,it was nasty, I lived on coffee and pastries,y sister ate only melon cottage cheese and honey. service from workers was 90 % good, there were some ofthem that were somewhat rude, to the point of me asking them to be nice. The jungle is beautiful and the hotel is very pretty BUT you have concierge in every buildingtrying to convince you to buyproperty there, and they do not take no for an answer. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A HOTEL AND HAD THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE. WOULD HAVE TO SAY;THE WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER BEEN. Let me not forget to say ; since we spent all of our time in the room, the TV service they have is little to none,poor reception and hardly any channels to watch .

First time in Cancun ever, and honestly disappointed. Arrived and wasn’t even informed of all the hotel amenities including how all inclusive worked. Spent my first 2 days trying to figure where anything was and how the hotel operated. The workers here are the worst, always angry and NOT helpful. Manager at the front desk just looking people up and down angry so maybe that’s why the workers are like that because their management. No excitement from workers expect for the pool entertainment they were always trying to have a good time. Food is very bad for an all inclusive resort, there’s breakfast until 11:30am and no food until restaurants open around 5/6 expect bland buffet food. For the prices people pay and for this resort to claim to be all inclusive i highly suggest for them to get better options. And just to take in account how rude and angry their workers are here. I came to enjoy my bday vacation yet i was ready to leave the minute i got here because of the rude hospitality from workers.BUT scenery is beautiful saw a lot of animals and enjoyed all the views and really recommend Xcaret park such a great time!

This was truly one of the best vacations I have ever been on. This place has the best customer service. The restaurants are all amazing. The food at the buffet was so good. And you can never go wrong with all you can drink at all the bars. Their were 2 waiter that really stood out and went above and beyond one was at the pescador restaurant his name was Francisco Mendez and at Beach Club for breakfast Luis Pena was amazing and so attentive. What made this place even more amazing was Xcaret Park witch is only a 5 minute walk from the resort with multiple entrances from this resort.

We stayed here for 6 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The resort consists of a bunch of buildings spread across the property. You are surrounded by trees and wildlife. There were so many different animals walking around and it was such a cool experience. Their beach is a man made lagoon that leads to the ocean. Food was pretty good for an all inclusive resort. The mango margaritas were perfect. We discovered a drink called Paloma and that was our go to for a majority of the trip. All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back

We are currently at the Occidental Xcaret and wanted to give our personal opinion and review while we are thinking about it.The hotel and property are absolutely beautiful.We've seen lots of wildlife (deer, monkeys, iguanas).The lagoon area is also amazing.It has a beautiful beach area and the bartenders are friendly, as are most of the employees.The location and private entrances near Xcaret are very convenient and quick. So why the 3 star review?We really wanted to like this place because of it's facilities and location, but the "All-Inclusive" concept is lacking compared to other places we have stayed at.It doesn't seem that the serviceconcept revolves around making the customer happy.There are quite a few "rules and restrictions" and they detracted from the overall vacation.Let me go over the biggest problems:1) Pools closing early.The pools close at 8:00 PM.I'm not sure why? Most resorts we've stayed at were open until at least 10:00 PM.2) No takeout food available.This was a BIG issue.You aren't allowed to take food back to your room from any of the restaurants.There is no "grab and go" style food at all.Going to the park and need a quick food option? It doesn't exist.You MUST go to a sit down dining style restaurant.There is room service for a hefty fee, but it doesn't have much and it won't be quick.3) It takes a while to get around.There's a lot of walking around buildings and such, with little options.The tram will take you to the beach (that's good!), but doesn't get very close to the lobby.If you have any type of foot/medical issues, be prepared.4) The food is just bad.With very few exceptions the food is bland and tasteless.The New York strip at the Sonora steak house was so overcooked that I could have used it for a doormat.The tacos at Paco's Taco's just have no flavor/no seasoning and the pizza is awful.Overall, the food was a huge disappointment and the main reason we won't return.5) My wife is vacationing without her phone, and my daughter doesn't have one so we were passing around one phone for the three of us to look at the menus.We were only able to get a real menu at the steakhouse.This was a real issue for my wife who despises QR menus.6) Bars opening/closing time.We found it very strange that the beach bar didn't open till 10:00 AM.People were on the beach as early as 8:00 AM and asking about drinks, but couldn't be served until 10:00 AM.Is this a local regulation? I can see no reason for the beach bar to open so late.Overall, there are just too many restrictions for us, so we won't be coming back to this property, and that's a shame. I really liked the property and location, but the poor food choices/availability are just a deal breaker for us.Perhaps things are different at the royal level, but since I'm just a regular peasant, I couldn't attest to that.

Localização privilegiada em relação ao Parque XCaret, que também sofre com a característica do turismo de massa e desatenção ao cliente. Importante: salvo informação clara e especifica em contrário, a diária no hotel não inclui entrada no parque. Relação custo beneficio desaponta.

Just came back today May 10th was an amazing experience. Vacation was to short recommend to go for more then a week to relax and also enjoy variety of parks/excursions. Staff friendly, resort family friendly and very clean resort. I could say they can improve in the food and alcoholic beverage category. Did not feel drinks was top shelf however our bartender Javier in member services attended us well and gave us the best drinks! Passion fruit margarita the best! Thank you Occidental for the best vacation and amazing experience.

The staff here are so kind and accommodating. We opted to upgrade to the royal level (highly recommend) and it was worth it. Melissa and her team were top notch at handling issues as they arose and making sure we were comfortable for the duration of our stay. Alondra was always kind and ready to help. Thank you royal level staff for making this trip memorable and great. We did have a couple of issue with hot water in our room, and room service, however Melissa went above and beyond to listen to our frustrations and find solutions to any issues. I will highly recommend this resort to my friends and family, and will be coming back. Paco’s Tacos was our favorite place to eat, open late and very good. The evening DJ shows were a fun way to enjoy the evening and end the day.

Ótimo resort, acomodações grandes e aconchegantes, ótima estrutura para crianças já que o Xcaret parque fica ao lado,a área da praia é pequena mas segura para as crianças, com água transparente onde pode-se observar peixes coloridos do Caribe. Hotel espetacular! Fica situado mesmo ao lado do parque Xcaret tendo até um caminho até ao parque. E um hotel mais ligado a natureza com vários animais. A praia e pequena mas existe uma zona fora da praia espectacular para fazer snorkeling, perto da piscina de água salgada. Vários restaurantes com diferentes variedades de comida. Foi uma boa experiência!

Giovanni, who runs activities at the resort, really made our stay. He taught us archery, dance, horse shoes, and even had silly contests with us! He made our stay so much fun! There were always great activities, and he was available for any questions!

Grounds are well maintained and full of interesting wildlife. The sweet Melissa who runs the activities at the pool was amazing! She did very well involving the crowd and kept all the children occupied with many arts and crafts. She was a pleasure! Rooms were cleaned and refreshed daily. Food was plentiful and delicious! Highly recommend ❤️ I was there for a wedding and it was breathtaking with the scenery

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. I am obsessed with this resort! We stayed in the royal level suites(totally worth it) the room was very big with a hot tub included. The scenery is amazing in this hotel if you like to be surrounded by nature this is the place to go! The beach is beautiful you can swim with fishes everyday! The buffets are very good and of course the staff is like no other super attentive and extremely nice. There is so much see, we didn’t get to see all the animals around the property. We will definitely be back next year!

The hotel is located in a beautiful secluded area with a clean beach. The hotel staff is very welcoming and helpful and there is a great variety of restaurants with different selections of food. By far one of the best all inclusive resorts I have stayed at! Cristina Muñiz helped answer many of my questions and recommended things to do to interact with others as I was traveling alone. I would highly recommend Occidental Xcaret and will definitely be returning to this stunning hotel!
