“The hotel is beautiful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the service was absolutely amazing. The pool facilities are great and you can't beat the view! I loved that there was an adult-only pool option. Hector was our server out by the pool and he is an absolute GEM. So incredibly attentive and kind, he took great care of us every day and made my birthday trip so special. Carlos (our waiter at The Grill) also deserves a shout-out. He was wonderful too!
My one note would be that the "all-inclusive" option is probably only a good value for a short trip. If I had been staying any longer I don't think it would have been worth the price, considering how many great food options are within walking distance.”

“My wife and I have been to Cancun for business meetings before, and had an overall good experience. As such, she booked the best room and had high expectations for this visit, once again for business meetings. Wow! Hard to describe just how awful this experience turned out to be. Arrived a bit late, so called to order room service from an extremely small menu with virtually no heathy options (she was here for meetings on health and wellness). Room service was technically still available (closes at 11 pm - compared to all night where we stayed before - and could order these amazing fruit trays at 3 in the morning and eat them with delight as we lay in bed discussing the adventures of the day). So she called the front desk - no answer. So she went to the front desk and they told her to call room service - she explained that she already had, with no answer. Eventually she got some food. In the morning she went for breakfast - was treated with a rudeness that was almost incomprehensible. Decided to return to her room for the poor choices being offered. Ongoing disappointment after disappointment!!! Next morning had a similar experience with the restaurant, only this time she was told that room service had ended at 11 the night before. She called and asked for coffee and water, which she was promised. 15 minutes later she called again - promised again. This continued, with nothing. She found a housekeeper and asked for water, and got screamed at - NO, SHE COULD NOT HAVE WATER! Finally the coffee came, but still no water. Called again. Did get the water after how long? Extremely poor, rude, unprofessional service. By the way, maybe it was fortunate that she didn't eat at the restaurant for breakfast, as several of her colleagues who did eat at the restaurant got FOOD POISONING!!!! She paid an exorbitant rate for an upscale room, and was treated like trash!!!!!”
